A full live concert by Clinton Fearon at the Rastaplas Festival in Zoetermeer, the Netherlands, in 2025. A Jamaican singer, bassist and songwriter, and a former member of the legendary Gladiators in the 1970s, Fearon is today one of the last great torchbearers of classic roots reggae. On the Dutch stage, his warm voice and conscious message carry a set deeply rooted in the Rastafari tradition: round basslines, one-drop rhythms, skanking guitars and vocal harmonies. Between original songs and the roots-reggae heritage, he builds an atmosphere at once militant and serene, faithful to the spirit of the genre’s pioneers. This filmed live performance (sound by Frits Panday) documents the longevity and authenticity of an artist who keeps the roots-reggae flame alive on European stages, decade after decade. An ideal full concert for lovers of roots reggae, dub and live Jamaican music. Filmed live concert, reggae festival, 2020s roots reggae.
