Alter Bridge — Wembley Arena, 2011

On 29 November 2011, Alter Bridge delivered the biggest headline concert of their career at London’s Wembley Arena, preserved as the « Live at Wembley » release. The American band, formed from the remnants of Creed, features singer-guitarist Myles Kennedy, guitarist Mark Tremonti, bassist Brian Marshall and drummer Scott Phillips. Touring behind that year’s AB III album, this full concert unfolds a dense set spanning their catalogue: openers « Slip to the Void » and « Find the Real », staples such as « Ghost of Days Gone By », « Isolation », « Metalingus », « Blackbird » and the closing « Rise Today », plus an acoustic interlude (« Wonderful Life », « Watch Over You ») and a Tremonti–Kennedy guitar duel. The professional multi-camera capture highlights the twin-guitar interplay, Kennedy’s wide-ranging voice and the muscular, melodic hard rock of the Florida quartet. It is a live performance that documents Alter Bridge at the peak of their stage power inside a landmark London venue, and an ideal entry point into the band’s live work for newcomers and longtime followers alike.
