livconcert is a catalogue of filmed concerts. This page explains which data is processed when you visit it, why, for how long, and how to exercise your rights.

Publisher and hosting

The site is published by EURL Simon Janvier – Mail Studio, SIREN 922 203 021, 54 rue Sadi Carnot, 49300 Cholet, France. Publication director and data controller: Simon Janvier. For any question, use the contact form.

The site is hosted by OVH SAS, 2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France. It is delivered through the network of Cloudflare, Inc., which protects the site against attacks and speeds it up.

Browsing the site

No account is needed. Like any web server, ours keeps technical logs (IP address, requested page, date, browser) for security and troubleshooting. An application firewall uses the same data to block malicious traffic. These logs are erased by automatic rotation and serve no other purpose.

When a page hits a JavaScript error, the error message, the page address and the browser type are sent to our internal monitoring tool, with no cookie or identifier.

Audience measurement

We use Google Analytics 4 to learn which pages are read and how the site is found. Google Analytics sets cookies (_ga, _ga_*) and receives your IP address, which Google does not store in reports. Data is kept for 14 months at most, then deleted. It is never sold or combined with other sources.

Advertising

The site is funded by Google AdSense advertising. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads, cap their frequency and measure their performance, and, if you have agreed to it with Google, tailor them to your interests. You can turn off ad personalisation in My Ad Center. Google’s rules are described on this page.

Videos

Concerts are hosted on YouTube. No video is loaded until you click the play button: before that, only thumbnails are shown. On click, the video plays in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com); YouTube then receives playback data under its own rules. Listening links to Spotify, Deezer or Apple Music are plain links: no data reaches these services unless you follow them.

Contact form

If you write to us, we receive your name, email address, subject and message, the page you wrote from and your IP address. This data is used only to reply and to filter unwanted messages: it is checked by the Akismet anti-spam service (Automattic), and your IP address is used to cap the number of messages per hour. Messages are deleted automatically after two years. They are never used for marketing.

Legal bases

  • Audience measurement and advertising: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Security, technical logs, spam filtering: the publisher’s legitimate interest in protecting the site.
  • Contact form: your request, which we answer.

Transfers outside the European Union

Google, Cloudflare and Automattic are based in the United States. These transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, to which these companies adhere, and on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Cookies and opting out

The site itself sets no advertising or tracking cookie. The cookies present come from Google Analytics, Google AdSense and, once a video is played, YouTube. You can refuse or delete them in your browser settings, block Google Analytics with Google’s opt-out add-on, and turn off personalised ads in My Ad Center. Refusing these cookies does not stop you from using the site.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port the data concerning you. Write to us through the contact form: we reply within one month. If you believe your rights are not respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority.
