This full concert captures Amorphis on the main stage of Summer Breeze Open Air in Dinkelsbühl, Germany, on 13 August 2026. Filmed by ARTE Concert, the live set brings together the complete Finnish sextet fronted by Tomi Joutsen, whose voice moves between cavernous growls and clear singing. Formed in the early 1990s, the band shaped a melodic metal rooted in death metal, progressive textures and dark Nordic atmosphere, with lyrics that frequently draw on the Kalevala, Finland’s national epic. The setlist spans several decades of their catalogue: from “Black Winter Day”, taken from “Tales from the Thousand Lakes” (1994), to more recent material such as “The Moon” and “The Bee”, alongside “Silver Bride”, “House of Sleep” and “Sampo”. Santeri Kallio’s keyboards and the twin guitars of Esa Holopainen and Tomi Koivusaari weave the group’s signature melodies, driven by the rhythm section of Olli-Pekka Laine and Jan Rechberger. This open-air live performance offers a faithful overview of Amorphis’s repertoire, balancing metal power with melancholic lyricism before one of the European scene’s major festival crowds.
