On 21 March 2022, the duo Bedouin — Tamer Auci and Rami Abousabe, melodic-house figures and founders of the Human By Default label — delivered one of the most striking live sets ever produced by Cercle. The French brand built its reputation filming DJ sets and live performances in iconic locations, and here it sets its stage at the foot of Al-Khazneh, the Treasury of Petra, the Nabataean city carved into rose-red sandstone and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The capture is as remarkable for its staging — raking light across the ancient façade, sweeping wide shots of the Jordanian archaeological site — as for the performance: nearly two hours of deep, melodic house, threaded with in-house reworks (DakhaBrakha, Little Junior Parker) and Bedouin’s own productions such as “Petra,” “Khazna” and “Tijuana.” This filmed live concert perfectly embodies Cercle’s DNA: pairing an electronic artist with a history-laden backdrop for a globally streamed live set.
