Why this recording

The credits read more like a fiction shoot than a session: directed by Alfonso Guerrero for Pardelion Films, cinematography by Matías Lasarte, art direction by Mariana Rivero, costumes, make-up, visual effects and even a credited AI studio. On the audio side, Charly Zoia is credited for sound and Nicolás Demzcylo handles audio editing, mixing and mastering. Actor Javier Correa plays the character of “Raro”. Premiered on 28 August 2026, the video runs under twenty-five minutes.

Live session by El Cuarteto de Nos, released on 27 August 2026 for the twentieth anniversary of the album Raro (2006), filmed in Montevideo, Uruguay. A flagship band of Latin American alternative rock, the group led by Roberto Musso replays live five tracks from this pivotal record, including Ya no sé qué hacer conmigo, Hoy estoy raro and Yendo a la casa de Damián. Conceived as an immersive short film (produced by Pardelion Films) set inside a recreated apartment, the session blends acting and musical performance, with a cameo by original producer Juan Campodónico. Biting guitars, hyper-verbal phrasing and dark humour: the filmed live concert captures the very particular identity of Cuarteto de Nos, between rock, hip-hop and narrative song. The multi-song live-session format, played live, fully matches the criterion of a concert capture. An ideal document for discovering a pillar of Uruguayan rock. Year: 2026, venue: Montevideo, Uruguay. A fine watch for fans of Latin rock and live music.
