Deftones — Sick New World, Fort Worth, 2026

Live capture of Deftones’ full set at the Sick New World festival on 24 October 2026, at the Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, for the inaugural Texas edition of this nu-metal and alternative-metal gathering, which the Sacramento band co-headlined with System of a Down. An absolute benchmark of alternative metal since the 1990s, Deftones deploy their signature blend of heavy, saturated riffs, ethereal shoegaze textures and Chino Moreno’s raw-nerve vocals, moving from whisper to scream. Carried by Stephen Carpenter’s guitar and a massive rhythm section, their music swings between violence and melancholy, a signature that deeply marked modern metal. This full-set video, filmed from the crowd, documents one of the standout concerts of their 2026 live activity, before a crowd drawn by a bill rich in genre legends. With no official setlist published, the exact song order is not reliably documented. Keywords: Deftones live, Sick New World 2026, Fort Worth, alternative metal, nu-metal, full set, live concert film.
