Metallica — Sphere, Las Vegas, 2026

A live capture of a Metallica concert performed on 8 October 2026 at the Sphere in Las Vegas, part of the “Life Burns Faster” residency (the first metal band to take over the Nevada desert’s immersive venue). Launched on 1 October 2026, the residency uses a “No Repeat Weekend” format: each night offers a different setlist drawn from four decades of repertoire, from “Battery” and “Creeping Death” to recent “72 Seasons” material. At the Sphere, the music is paired with a panoramic ultra-high-definition visual rig that wraps the audience in 360°, turning the full concert into a total audiovisual experience. James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo deploy the rhythmic power and precision that have made the San Francisco quartet one of heavy metal’s most influential bands since 1981. This 8 October show, the opener of the residency’s second weekend, illustrates the staging ambition Metallica keeps reinventing on the world’s largest LED sphere.
