Eminem — Detroit, 2002

Live concert by Eminem filmed in Detroit during the Anger Management Tour, captured in the era of The Eminem Show (2002), here restored in high definition. Back in his native Michigan city, the rapper at the peak of his cultural dominance delivers a tense, provocative full concert before a fired-up crowd. The set runs through his most incendiary tracks: Square Dance, White America, Kill You, The Way I Am, Cleaning Out My Closet, Without Me, along with D12 crew hits and the collaboration Forgot About Dre. Driven by a machine-gun flow and an insolent sense of show, Eminem alternates aggression, dark humor and intimate confessions, illustrating why he became one of the most influential hip-hop artists of his generation. This live capture documents Slim Shady in his stronghold, at a pivotal moment when he ruled global rap. An essential hip-hop live concert for reliving the raw energy of the 2000s, filmed up close in a performance that has become legendary for fans of the Detroit rapper.
