Fakear — Cercle, Tal Mixta Cave (Malta), 2018

On 9 April 2018, French producer Fakear took over the Tal Mixta cave on the island of Gozo in Malta for a live session filmed by Cercle, the platform that has become a benchmark for electronic captures in exceptional locations. Théo Le Vigoureux unfurls his melodic, organic electro — woven from world samples, atmospheric pads and finely chiselled rhythms — in a spectacular mineral setting opening onto the Mediterranean. This live set embodies the Cercle aesthetic, where electronic performance dialogues with a remarkable landscape filmed in aerial shots. Fakear, one of the leading names of the new French electronic scene, confirms his taste for shimmering textures and evocative melodies, between downtempo and luminous electro. The polished capture, the cave’s natural acoustics and the immersive staging make this filmed live concert a singular experience. A prime document for fans of electro, filmed DJ sets and the Cercle universe, recorded in Malta in 2018.
