A filmed live concert of film music, captured in 2025 as part of the Filmmuziekconcert of the Dutch public broadcaster AVROTROS. A symphony orchestra performs live some of cinema’s most famous scores: John Williams’s Schindler’s List theme, E.T. and Harry Potter, Ennio Morricone’s “Gabriel’s Oboe” from The Mission, Rachel Portman’s Chocolat Suite, Vangelis’s “1492 Conquest of Paradise”, Alan Silvestri’s Back to the Future Suite and Billie Eilish’s “No Time to Die”. This classical capture showcases the orchestral richness and emotional power of film music played on stage, in a programme that is both popular and demanding.
