Filmed live set by FKJ in the heart of the Salar de Uyuni, the world’s largest salt flat, in Bolivia, produced by Cercle in 2019. In this mineral, immaculate setting, the French multi-instrumentalist French Kiwi Juice (Vincent Fenton) delivers a solo live performance in which he moves between keyboards, saxophone, guitar and machines, building his tracks in real time through layered loops. True to the Cercle aesthetic, the capture pairs spectacular aerial directing with a very organic electro-soul sound. For fans of filmed live concerts, this Bolivian set is an ideal showcase of FKJ’s craft: muted groove, instrumental improvisations and fluid transitions between melodic house, jazz and electronics. The location, a reflective surface stretching to the horizon, becomes an integral part of the performance. A document both musical and visual, representative of the Cercle series and of how FKJ turns the stage into a sonic workshop. A reference for filmed electro live sets staged in the wild, far from clubs and arenas.
