Full HD film of Herbie Hancock’s concert at Jazz à Juan, recorded on 16 July 2003 at La Pinède Gould in Juan-les-Pins. The pianist and jazz legend reunites with vibraphonist Bobby Hutcherson, joined by Scott Colley on bass and Terri Lyne Carrington on drums, for a refined acoustic quartet set featuring the classic « Dolphin Dance », Hancock’s signature composition from the album Maiden Voyage (1965). Filmed by Zycopolis (directed by Patrick Savey), this live concert captures all the harmonic subtlety and interplay of one of the greatest pianists in jazz history, in the prestigious setting of Europe’s oldest jazz festival.
