Live concert drawn from Flight 666, the documentary film devoted to Iron Maiden’s Somewhere Back in Time World Tour in 2008. Carried from city to city aboard the Ed Force One plane flown by singer Bruce Dickinson, the six musicians deliver a set focused entirely on the 1980s golden age, complete with the Egyptian staging of the Powerslave tour. Each song in the film was captured in a different city, from Mexico to Japan, resulting in a live capture of rare intensity. It features absolute heavy-metal classics: Aces High, The Trooper, The Number of the Beast, Fear of the Dark and Hallowed Be Thy Name. This full concert showcases the stagecraft of Britain’s biggest metal band, driven by the three-guitar lineup (Dave Murray, Adrian Smith, Janick Gers). For fans of live metal and historic captures, Flight 666 remains a cornerstone, as much a document as a concert.
