A live recording of the full concert by Josimar y su Yambú at La Choza Náutica in Los Olivos, Lima, released in 2025. Led by singer and bandleader Josimar Flores, this group is one of the spearheads of contemporary Peruvian salsa, driven by a powerful brass section and a repertoire built for the dancefloor. Filmed before an enthusiastic crowd, this full concert runs through its songs in the grand salsa-orchestra tradition, between energetic montunos, call-and-response choruses and trumpet solos. The recording documents the vitality of Lima’s tropical scene and the charisma of a leader who has become a reference in the genre across Latin America. For fans of salsa, Latin music and live orchestra concerts, this Lima performance offers a representative snapshot of Josimar y su Yambú’s on-stage energy, far from the studio versions. A concierto en directo that highlights the collective groove and the fervour of the crowd, hallmarks of the Peruvian tropical sound.
