Kreator — Live in Chile, 2023

Released by the band as an official live video, this full performance filmed in Chile in 2023 immortalizes Kreator, a German pillar of thrash metal, before the Chilean hordes renowned for their fervor. Led by singer-guitarist Mille Petrozza, the Essen outfit rolls out a marathon set spanning four decades of its career: from recent scorchers like “Hate Über Alles” and “Enemy of God” to timeless classics “Pleasure to Kill,” “Flag of Hate” and “Violent Revolution.” Directed by Carlos Toro Venegas, the footage captures the walls of sound, the circle pits and the incendiary staging typical of the band’s shows. This multi-song filmed live set, with a particularly generous setlist, confirms Kreator’s standing among the European “Big Four” of thrash alongside Sodom, Destruction and Tankard. An essential live concert for fans of extreme metal, this Live in Chile 2023 captures the raw energy of a band still at the peak of its stage power, more than forty years after its debut.
