Leif Vollebekk — MTELUS, Montréal, 2025

Live concert footage of Leif Vollebekk at MTELUS in Montreal, in 2025, as part of his “Revelation” tour. A Canadian singer-songwriter, Leif Vollebekk practices a hushed, inhabited folk at the edges of songwriting and soul, where piano, guitar and a fragile voice converse with stripped-back arrangements. This full concert capture documents an evening in one of Montreal’s emblematic venues, the artist’s home city, before an attentive audience. The format suits his music perfectly: the nuances, the silences and the rising intensity take their full place, far from grand effects. The video conveys the intimate atmosphere of the live set, between introspective songs and more rhythmic moments, carried by an understated stage presence and a direct bond with the room. For fans of folk and singer-songwriter music, this 2025 live concert is a landmark: a recognized artist of the Canadian scene, a major Montreal venue and a complete capture of a set that highlights the delicacy of Leif Vollebekk’s writing and the beauty of his performances in concert.
