Ludovico Einaudi — Steve Jobs Theatre, 2019

Published on August 8, 2026 by

Live full concert of Ludovico Einaudi at the Steve Jobs Theater in Apple Park, filmed on 12 June 2019 in Cupertino. The Italian composer and pianist was the first musician to perform in this auditorium, for an exclusive capture made for Apple Music and directed by Paul Dugdale. On stage, Einaudi is joined by cellist Redi Hasa and violinist and violist Federico Mecozzi, a compact trio that extends the artist’s minimalist, cinematic writing. The set draws heavily on the Seven Days Walking cycle, released the same year, while revisiting emblematic pieces from the repertoire such as “Nuvole Bianche” and “Experience.” The capture, visually spare, matches the contemplative nature of the music, with extreme care given to sound and light. It is a live performance that highlights the hypnotic repetition, layered strings and melodic restraint characteristic of Einaudi. A reference concert film for discovering the Italian composer in a small ensemble, in an unprecedented venue and a capture of rare aesthetic rigour.
