Why this recording

Four years after a first appearance on the Sophie Lancaster Stage in 2022, Orbit Culture returned to Bloodstock on 9 August 2026, this time on the Ronnie James Dio main stage, during the festival's 25th anniversary edition. The band mixed the audio of this release themselves, prepared with the festival for its official channel. The set opens with “Death Above Life”, the title track of their latest album, and closes on “Vultures Of North”; according to Lambgoat, “Hydra” was cut short after a fan was injured. Eight songs in 45 minutes, filmed in full.

Full set by Orbit Culture filmed at Bloodstock Open Air, Catton Park, England, in 2026. From Eksjö, Sweden, and led by Niklas Karlsson, the band has established itself within a few years as one of the most talked-about names in modern European metal. Their music combines the heaviness of groove metal, the aggression of melodic death metal and unifying choruses, in a massive sound built for big stages. This filmed live concert illustrates Orbit Culture’s meteoric rise, from clubs to major metal festivals in the space of a few albums. On stage, down-tempo riffs, breakdowns and powerful choruses drive a dense crowd in front of the Bloodstock main stage, one of the most respected metal gatherings in the UK. This full-length capture conveys the sonic power and visual impact of a performance designed for the open air. A full concert ideal for discovering or revisiting a flagship band of the new wave of Swedish metal, whose success with British audiences confirms its growing place on the international scene.
