Shimza — Tignes Unlimited, 2026

Live set by Shimza captured at Tignes Unlimited 2026, in the French Alps. A South African DJ and producer, Shimza is one of the international figures of afro house, a current blending African percussion, deep bass and electronic textures. Filmed at altitude in a mountain setting, this live concert conveys the arc of a set built over time: slow builds, hypnotic loops and drops designed for the dance floor. The 4K capture highlights both the DJ’s work on the decks and the energy of the crowd, in the spirit of the YouTube-filmed sets that popularized afro house beyond Africa. For fans of techno and electronic music it is a representative document of Shimza’s organic groove, halfway between house and rhythmic trance. Tignes, French Alps, 2026: a live set that illustrates the global reach of afro house and the way a South African DJ takes on Europe’s major electronic gatherings, between sunlight, altitude and enveloping bass.
