Live DJ set filmed of Skrillex for Boiler Room, recorded on 27 September 2016 in Shanghai in partnership with IMS Asia-Pacific and OWSLA. This was Sonny Moore’s long-awaited debut on the cult platform: over an hour of frenzied bass music played live to a packed crowd, in the electric atmosphere unique to the Boiler Room format. A major figure of 2010s electronic music, a pioneer of brostep and founder of the OWSLA label, Skrillex unfolds his signature here — massive drops, dubstep breaks, trap and house incursions — in a raw, no-safety-net set. This capture documents a key moment of the American producer’s Asian tour and remains a reference for understanding the stage impact of EDM at its peak. A full live set ideal for fans of electro, bass music and filmed club culture.
