Live filmed session by the British band Suede for Absolute Radio, released in 2025. A major name of the Britpop scene that emerged in the early 1990s, the group led by singer Brett Anderson performs four songs in a small live setting, within the intimate format of a radio session. The set brings together two of its classics, ‘Beautiful Ones’ and ‘Animal Nitrate’, alongside two tracks from the album ‘Antidepressants’: ‘Disintegrate’ and ‘Dancing with the Europeans’. This live performance shows how Suede lets its historic repertoire converse with its recent output, driven by Anderson’s distinctive voice, Richard Oakes’s guitars and the band’s arrangements. On stage, Brett Anderson is joined by his longtime bandmates: Richard Oakes on guitar, Mat Osman on bass, Simon Gilbert on drums and Neil Codling on keyboards. The recording foregrounds the melodic tension and controlled energy that define the group, in a tight, unshowy format. It stands as a representative live document from the release period of ‘Antidepressants’, confirming the artistic longevity of one of British rock’s leading bands and its ability to pair well-known singles with new material in a concise full session.
