Filmed in August 2024 for Boiler Room at Malta’s Glitch Festival, this set brings together two rising figures of European techno in a back-to-back format: Polish producer and DJ VTSS (Martyna Maja) and Dutch DJ KI/KI. For over an hour, the two artists trade off at the decks in a breathless dialogue, pushing a fast, melodic and euphoric techno strongly marked by the reworked rave and trance sound that dominates 2020s clubs. The b2b format highlights their chemistry and their sense of build-up, with powerful crescendos carried by the fervor of a Maltese crowd in the summer heat. Faithful to the Boiler Room aesthetic — immersive camera, raw energy, no raised stage — this capture restores the intensity of a festival techno set. A prime filmed live concert for grasping the state of contemporary techno and the talent of two DJs who rank among the most in-demand of their generation, caught in full flight.
