Live capture of the ZO! Gospel Choir at the North Sea Jazz Festival 2025 in Rotterdam, one of the largest jazz festivals in the world. Renowned as the most in-demand choir in the Netherlands, the ZO! ensemble has appeared on television and alongside international artists such as Gregory Porter and Mariah Carey. On the North Sea Jazz stage, it delivers a vibrant full concert, where the fervour of African-American gospel meets the musical standards of a jazz festival. Powerful soul voices, rich vocal harmonies, groove carried by a rhythm section and horns: this performance illustrates the vitality of contemporary gospel in Europe. Between spirituality, collective energy and vocal virtuosity, the choir turns the hall into a moment of communion. For the gospel and soul enthusiast, this capture offers an exhilarating live concert, filmed in professional conditions by Dutch public television. A fine glimpse of the gospel tradition reinvented by one of the most dynamic vocal ensembles in the Netherlands, before the discerning North Sea Jazz audience.
