The Milk Carton Kids — Ryman Auditorium, Nashville, 2024

Official full concert by American folk duo The Milk Carton Kids at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on 1 February 2024. Kenneth Pattengale and Joey Ryan carry on the tradition of great vocal duos — in the vein of the Everly Brothers and Simon & Garfunkel — with limpid harmonies and lace-like acoustic guitar interplay. Released on their official channel, this live filmed concert in the temple of country and americana conveys the intimacy and deadpan humour that define their stage reputation, between delicate ballads and knowing banter with the audience. It features « Younger Years », « Undress the World », « Heaven » and « North Country Ride », among others. The Ryman’s legendary acoustics, nicknamed « the Mother Church of Country Music », elevate the finesse of their acoustic folk. For lovers of folk, americana and refined songwriting, a reference live document, carefully captured and offered in full by the artists themselves.
