Cabaret Voltaire — Live on KEXP, 2026

Live session by Cabaret Voltaire recorded at Seattle radio station KEXP’s studios on 3 May 2026. A pioneer of industrial and electronic music born in Sheffield in 1973, the group led by Stephen « Mal » Mallinder deeply influenced techno, electro and post-punk. This live filmed capture offers five tracks — « 24-24 », « Landslide », « Spies in the Wires », the classic « Nag Nag Nag » and « Sensoria » — in a display of synths, mechanical rhythms and hypnotic visuals. Surrounded by Benge on machines, Tara Busch and Eric Random, Mallinder extends the group’s experimental legacy while anchoring it in today’s electronic sound. KEXP’s production quality, a global benchmark for live sessions, highlights the set’s sonic texture and intensity. For lovers of electro, industrial and historic electronic music, a precious live concert linking four decades of the avant-garde, carefully filmed in studio and credited in full detail.
