Céline Dion — Plains of Abraham, Quebec, 2013

Live concert captured on 27 July 2013 on the Plains of Abraham in Quebec City, before more than 40,000 spectators. Released as « Céline… une seule fois / Live 2013 », this full concert marks one of Céline Dion’s rare appearances away from her Las Vegas residency, on the very site of her 2008 concert. With no guests, the Quebec singer focuses on her French and English repertoire: from « Ce n’était qu’un rêve » to « Pour que tu m’aimes encore », through « S’il suffisait d’aimer », « All by Myself » and the inevitable « My Heart Will Go On ». The capture conveys the scale of an open-air show, the artist’s intact vocal power and the emotion of a crowd won over in advance, on a stage set in the historic heart of her home city. For the pop and chanson enthusiast, this live concert is a major document: Céline Dion at the peak of her career, in a strongly symbolic context, offering a complete overview of her greatest hits before her own people.
