Fred again.. & Thomas Bangalter — Alexandra Palace, Londres, 2026

Why this recording

Fred again.. posted the video on his own channel a month after the night, with a long note admitting he keeps rewatching this set, when he normally never watches his shows back. Shot by eight camera operators, it was edited and graded by Charlie Hutchins. The tracklist he shared, picked up by Mixmag, opens with Bangalter's “Mythologies: X. L'Accouchement”, from his ballet score, and plays “One More Time” third and again as the closer. In between, close to twenty moments draw on Daft Punk, including a mash-up of “Billie” and “Digital Love”.

On 27 February 2026, British producer Fred again.. and Thomas Bangalter, one half of Daft Punk, joined forces for a back-to-back set at London’s Alexandra Palace, as part of Fred again..’s USB002 event. This filmed live concert documents one of Bangalter’s rare stage appearances in the UK and was immediately hailed as a landmark electronic-music moment. Behind the decks, the two artists weave a continuous mix crossing house, breakbeat and melodic emotion beneath the vaults of the legendary “Ally Pally”. Rather than a succession of fixed tracks, the b2b DJ set favours the building of a flow, the transitions and the dancefloor energy, in euphoric communion with the London crowd. A precious live capture for grasping the meeting of two generations of the electronic scene — one of the great events of 2026. The mix’s detailed tracklist was published separately by the specialist press.
