Hot Since 82 — Mixmag Lab London, 2026

Why this recording

Shot on the Wagtail rooftop in the City of London during the Mixmag Lab of 15 August 2026 announced by the organiser, this set of more than two hours marks another visit by Hot Since 82 to the magazine's series. The day's bill also featured Cameron Jack, TMPLE and Jenn Getz, but the video focuses on the headliner's set, scheduled for sunset. Mixmag, which produces and broadcasts the series, points in the description to CamelPhat's session in the same format, a useful comparison of two takes on house in this setting.

Live DJ set filmed at the Mixmag Lab London, on the Wagtail rooftop, to celebrate the release of the album Obsessions. Britain’s Daley Padley, aka Hot Since 82, unfolds two hours of high-grade house and tech-house, mixing new tracks and his own remixes, with a panoramic view over London. Founder of the Knee Deep in Sound label and a regular of Ibiza residencies, Tomorrowland and Creamfields, the Leeds producer is one of the major voices of contemporary house, alongside Jamie Jones, Marco Carola and Solomun. This filmed live performance, built for the dancefloor, showcases his feel for deep groove and gradual build-ups. Keywords: Hot Since 82 live, Mixmag Lab, house, tech-house, electro, DJ set 2026.
