Public Enemy — Merriweather Post Pavilion, Columbia, 2026

A full Public Enemy set at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland, on October 3, 2026, at the « Power To The People Fest ». Pioneers of political, conscious hip-hop, Chuck D and Flavor Flav bring to the stage the militant energy that defined late-1980s rap. Flanked by the S1W, DJ Johnny Juice and a full live line-up — drums, guitar and turntables — the group turns its classics into a show of stage force. This filmed live performance, edited from crowd footage and the concert livestream, conveys the fervor of an event built around peace, justice and music. Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian and DJ Lord are among the guests. A valuable full set for fans of live hip-hop and engaged rap culture, documenting the enduring stage power of a landmark group still in concert nearly forty years after its debut. Between « Fight the Power »-era fury and seasoned live musicianship, this Maryland set shows why Public Enemy remains a reference point for live rap worldwide.
