Live full concert filmed of Rey Ruiz at the 13th edition of the El Sol Warsaw Salsa Festival, in 2017 in Warsaw, Poland, one of the world’s largest salsa gatherings. Nicknamed “El Rey de la Salsa Romántica,” the Cuban-born, naturalized American singer is a major figure of 1990s and 2000s salsa, known for his danceable boleros and warm voice. This capture conveys the energy of a salsa concert before a crowd of dancers from across Europe, with a full orchestra and the brass section typical of the genre. A reference filmed live concert for fans of salsa, Latin music and festival captures, it documents the stage presence of an emblematic performer of romantic salsa in a fervent European context. A live concert ideal for discovering the contemporary live salsa scene.
