Slipknot – Live at Rock am Ring, 2015 (Full Concert)

Full concert film of Slipknot recorded on 7 June 2015 at Flugplatz Mendig during the 2015 edition of Germany’s Rock am Ring festival. This live performance captures the Iowa band headlining its Prepare for Hell tour in support of .5: The Gray Chapter (2014), the first album made after the death of bassist Paul Gray and the departure of drummer Joey Jordison. Fronted by Corey Taylor, the nine-piece line-up powers through a set that blends newer material — “The Devil in I,” “Custer” and “Killpop” — with classics such as “Psychosocial,” “Duality,” “Before I Forget,” “Wait and Bleed” and “Spit It Out.” The intro “XIX” and “Sarcastrophe” open the show, while the encore delivers “(sic)” and “Surfacing” to a roaring crowd. Masks, jumpsuits and the band’s signature custom percussion are all on display, and this filmed concert conveys the full stage intensity of Slipknot’s metal.
