Live concert by Stevie Wonder at the Utilita Arena Birmingham, in the United Kingdom, on 13 October 2026: the opening night of his “Songs in the Key of Life Performances — 50th Anniversary Tour.” At 76, the soul and Motown legend celebrates the fiftieth anniversary of his 1976 double album “Songs in the Key of Life,” one of the peaks of his catalogue, performing it in its entirety. The tour starts in Birmingham before heading to Paris, Amsterdam and London, then to the United States (Madison Square Garden in New York from 19 November) and on to a California finale in December. This full concert revisits the album’s classics — soul, funk, jazz and R&B combined — carried by Stevie Wonder’s voice and keyboards, backed by his large ensemble of musicians and backing singers. For the Birmingham audience, this live concert is a rare chance to hear on stage, fifty years after its release, a record that became emblematic of American soul, performed by its creator. A long-awaited opening night for one of the most celebrated albums in popular music.
