Live capture of The Offspring closing Hellfest Open Air 2026 in Clisson, France, broadcast by ARTE Concert. Founded in 1984 by Dexter Holland, the Californian band belongs to the first rank of 1990s punk rock alongside NOFX, Green Day and Rancid. Before the crowd of France’s largest metal and rock festival, the group runs through the hits that made the album Smash a cornerstone of the punk revival: « Come Out and Play », « The Kids Aren’t Alright », « Pretty Fly (for a White Guy) », « Self Esteem » and « You’re Gonna Go Far, Kid ». The concert is also marked by an unexpected cover of Taylor Swift’s « Love Story », which sparks one of the festival’s biggest circle pits. This full concert, filmed in high definition, captures the stagecraft, dry humour and sardonic social critique that have defined the band for forty years, set against the now-iconic backdrop of Clisson.
