Full concert by The Wailers at the Fonnefeesten festival in Lokeren, Belgium, on 2 August 2026. Direct heirs to the band that backed Bob Marley, the reggae collective is now led by bassist Aston Barrett Jr., son of the legendary Family Man Barrett, and fronted by singer Mitchell Brunings, whose voice recalls Marley’s own. This live concert of around one hour and twenty minutes runs through the core Wailers and Bob Marley repertoire: ‘Lively Up Yourself’, ‘Is This Love’, ‘Stir It Up’, ‘Waiting in Vain’, ‘I Shot The Sheriff’, ‘Three Little Birds’, ‘One Love’, ‘Jammin”, ‘Get Up, Stand Up’, ‘Redemption Song’, ‘Buffalo Soldier’ and ‘Could You Be Loved’. On stage, twin guitars from Junior Jazz Ferraro and Owen ‘Dreadie’ Reid, one-drop drumming and backing harmonies keep alive the roots rock reggae groove that defined the band. Filmed outdoors before the Belgian festival crowd, this filmed concert conveys the fervour of a set of Jamaican standards delivered by musicians faithful to the original spirit of The Wailers.
