Full concert video of Black Label Society, « Unblackened », recorded on 6 March 2013 at Club Nokia in Los Angeles and distributed by Qello Concerts. Led by guitarist and singer Zakk Wylde, Ozzy Osbourne’s former right-hand man, the band reworks its repertoire in a largely acoustic, intimate form, expanded with a string section and pedal steel. The full concert unfolds signature tracks such as « In This River », a tribute to Dimebag Darrell, along with « The Blessed Hellride », « House of Doom », « Stillborn » and « Rust ». Between distorted riffs, piano ballads and a virtuoso guitar solo, the performance highlights Wylde’s two sides, between metal heaviness and the Southern rock sensibility inherited from his Pride & Glory project. This high-definition live recording, originally aired on AXS TV, stands as one of the most accomplished documents on Black Label Society, capturing the band in a rare, stripped-back format far from the festival stages.
