Full concert of Hélène Rollès at the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy in January 1995, released at the time on VHS as « Bercy 95 — Le Concert Intégral ». Made famous by the TV series « Hélène et les Garçons », the French singer brings to Bercy’s big stage the early-1990s phenomenon of teen-oriented French variété. This filmed live concert runs through her hits in a large-venue staging, before a big and loyal audience, and documents a landmark moment of French TV pop culture of the era. Backed by a full band and stage production, the show turned a television-born fame into a genuine live event, filling one of Paris’s largest indoor arenas. Long circulated on video, the capture is a valuable record of Hélène’s musical career at its media peak. A full concert of French chanson to discover or rediscover, representative of 1990s French variété and of the télé-crochet generation.
