Why this recording

Less than three weeks before Evolve came out on June 23, 2017, the band was already playing “Believer”, “Thunder” and “Whatever It Takes” at Pinkpop, making this set a snapshot of the album ahead of its release. The video comes from the festival's archive channel, which posted it in April 2026, and covers an hour of the show. Two solos, drums and then guitar, break up the second half before “I'm So Sorry” and “Radioactive” close the programme. “It's Time” opens the night.

Full concert filmed of Imagine Dragons at the Pinkpop festival, on June 4, 2017 at the Megaland grounds in Landgraaf, Netherlands. The Las Vegas band appears mid-campaign for the album Evolve, previewing the coming singles «Believer», «Thunder» and «Whatever It Takes» alongside earlier hits. This live session runs through thirteen segments, from a slowed-down «It’s Time» opener to the «Radioactive» finale, taking in «Demons», «On Top of the World» and «Amsterdam» along the way. Dan Reynolds fronts the performance on vocals, backed by Wayne Sermon on guitar, Ben McKee on bass and Daniel Platzman on drums, whose solo punctuates the set. This full performance shows the band’s stagecraft: unifying choruses, frontal percussion and constant address to a large European festival crowd. A representative capture of the period when Imagine Dragons cemented its standing as a pop-rock headliner of major open-air events.
