Full concert capture of Ladies of Soul at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, Netherlands, the 2019 edition of the Dutch soul revue performed live. The collective brings together five leading artists from the Netherlands’ pop-soul scene: Trijntje Oosterhuis, Glennis Grace, Edsilia Rombley, Berget Lewis and saxophonist Candy Dulfer. Also released as a live album (“Live at the Ziggo Dome 2019”), the show runs to twenty-seven numbers, many of them medleys: the “We’re In This Together” overture, “Treat Her Like a Lady,” a Soul Medley, an Aretha Franklin tribute, “Free Your Mind,” “I Want To Know What Love Is,” a Ska Medley, a Gospel Explosion and the “Whatta Man” / “Hold On” finale. This full concert highlights the singers’ voices and stage energy before the audience of one of the largest Dutch arenas. It is a reference live concert for followers of soul, R&B and reworked covers, documenting the annual format that has become a fixture in Amsterdam. A complete live performance to watch from start to finish, medley after medley.
