Metallica — London Stadium (M72), 2026

Why this recording

The first of two London nights, on July 3, 2026: the second show has its own video by the same author, Jakeflix, who here assembled footage from many audience members, all named in the description, over the soundboard audio. The local nod comes at 36:30, when Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo take on Ian Dury's Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll and The Clash's Guns of Brixton. The setlist reaches for Orion and Of Wolf and Man, and ends with Master of Puppets.

Multicam capture of the first of Metallica’s two “No Repeat Weekend” nights at London Stadium, on 3 July 2026, as part of the M72 World Tour. True to the tour’s concept, each night features an entirely different set-list: on this evening the band moves from Creeping Death to Master of Puppets, taking in Fade to Black, Orion, Nothing Else Matters and recent tracks such as Lux Æterna and If Darkness Had a Son. James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo perform on the M72’s signature 360° in-the-round stage, with Knocked Loose and Gojira as support. This filmed live full concert documents one of the major metal dates of the 2026 European run. A complete version, it conveys the sound and energy of a packed London stadium. Keywords: Metallica live, M72 World Tour, London Stadium 2026, filmed concert, metal. Launched in 2023 around the album 72 Seasons, the M72 World Tour redefined the stadium-concert experience with its central stage ringed by the audience, and the London dates were among its most anticipated European stops.
