Oddisee & Good Compny — Electric Castle 2026, Bonțida

Full concert by Oddisee backed by his band Good Compny, filmed at the Electric Castle 2026 festival, in the grounds of Bánffy Castle in Bonțida, Romania. An American rapper, producer and beatmaker of Sudanese descent based in Washington and later Brooklyn, Oddisee champions an organic hip-hop played live by a real band, where rap meets soul, jazz and funk. On stage, the chemistry with Good Compny gives the songs a rhythmic and harmonic depth rare in the genre, between swaying grooves, improvisations and introspective lyrics. For over an hour, the concert unfolds a warm, danceable set before the Romanian audience. The festival’s polished capture conveys the dynamic between the MC and his musicians. This filmed live concert is an excellent illustration of instrumental live hip-hop in the 2020s and of the richness of Electric Castle’s programming, one of Eastern Europe’s major festivals. A must-see for Oddisee’s musicality and generosity on stage, captured in 2026.
