Filmed live session by Widowspeak at Seattle’s KEXP radio studios, recorded on 31 July 2026. Led by singer Molly Hamilton and guitarist Robert Earl Thomas, the New York band cultivates a hazy dream pop built on reverb-drenched guitars, muted melodies and an avowed folk and country influence. Across four songs — « The Hook », « No Driver », « Roses » and « If You Change » — the group unfolds delicate arrangements in which Hamilton’s soft voice glides over cottony textures. The live capture, by KEXP’s teams, foregrounds the intimacy of this music and the cohesion of a band expanded to five players. Far from the big stage, this studio performance restores the melancholy beauty and quiet elegance that have defined Widowspeak since its early-2010s beginnings. An ideal live set to discover a dreamy, nuanced pop that runs against the trends, filmed in one of independent music’s most emblematic studios.
