A live DJ set filmed at Mixmag Lab in London in 2023, powered by the Pioneer PRO AUDIO system. Dutch producer and DJ Chris Stussy, head of the Up The Stuss label, delivers a house set of over an hour. Breaking through on the house scene from 2014 with releases on Eastenderz, PIV and Kerri Chandler’s Kaoz Theory, Stussy has become one of the key figures of the new European house sound. His Mixmag Lab set shows his signature: hypnotic house with vocal cuts, borrowings from jazz, disco and the Chicago sound, patient grooves and carefully drawn melodic lines. The Mixmag Lab format, filmed in studio before a small audience, foregrounds the mix and the selection rather than spectacle. A live electronic recording to discover for fans of contemporary house and club culture. A filmed live concert that perfectly captures the craft of a DJ on a steep international rise.
