Deluxe — Moustache Gracias Tour, Luberon, 2023

This full concert closes out the 2023 leg of French band Deluxe’s “Moustache Gracias” tour, filmed amid the landscapes of the Luberon in Provence. Formed in Aix-en-Provence, the moustachioed sextet blends funk, electro-swing, jazz and chanson in a festive, visually polished show that has become its signature on French and European stages. For more than an hour, the group runs through its repertoire — “Flowers,” “Get Down,” “2020 Turned to Shit,” “Daniel,” “My Game,” “Pony,” “Tum Rakak” — up to the title track “Moustache Gracias.” Between horns, groovy bass, machines and the vocals of frontwoman Liliboy, Deluxe favours collective energy and humour. The capture, carefully handled in both image and sound, showcases a generous live set in a natural setting. An ideal live filmed concert for discovering French funk and electro-swing, this Luberon appearance illustrates the party spirit of a band that has made the stage its playground. A full concert to share.
