Michael Schenker Group — Full Metal Japan, Yokohama, 2026

Full show by the Michael Schenker Group at the Full Metal Japan festival, PIA Arena MM in Yokohama, on 24 October 2026. A former guitarist of the Scorpions and UFO, Germany’s Michael Schenker is one of hard rock’s masters, recognisable by his black-and-white Flying V and lyrical vibrato. This live filmed concert runs through nineteen tracks spanning his career: the instrumentals « Into the Arena » and « Captain Nemo », the classics « Armed and Ready », « Attack of the Mad Axeman », « Assault Attack » (sung by Ronnie Romero), and an eagerly awaited finale on « Doctor Doctor », the UFO hit. The capture highlights the precision of his phrasing and the melodic richness of a guitar hero who has stayed true to his style since the 1970s. Before a fervent Japanese crowd, the concert illustrates Japan’s devotion to classic hard rock. A reference live document for lovers of virtuoso electric guitar and melodic heavy rock.
