Molotov — Sziget Festival, Budapest, 2012

Complete live concert by Mexican band Molotov filmed at the Sziget Festival in Budapest in 2012, posted on the festival’s official channel. Four-time Latin Grammy winners, Molotov blend heavy rock, rap and massive basslines, with bilingual Spanish-English lyrics that are often political and provocative. On the Hungarian stage, the Mexico City quartet runs through its best-known anthems — « Chinga tu madre », « Here We Kum », « Voto Latino », « Gimme tha Power », « Frijolero », « Dance and Dense Denso » and « Puto » — in a high-voltage party atmosphere. This full concert of just over an hour showcases the stage power of a band emblematic of Latin American rock since the 1990s, driven by the alternating voices of its four members. A valuable capture for anyone interested in Mexican rap-rock and its protest dimension, filmed at one of Europe’s major festivals. Live concert video, Latin rock, complete live performance.
