Sasha b2b ANNA — Mixmag Lab, Ibiza, 2023

To celebrate its fortieth anniversary in 2023, Mixmag magazine brought two heavyweights of house and techno to Ibiza for a back-to-back DJ set filmed at the Destino Pacha Resort, on the sidelines of the International Music Summit (IMS). On one side, Welshman Sasha, a pioneer of progressive house since the early 1990s; on the other, Brazil’s ANNA, whose warehouse-ready techno sets have made her one of the most in-demand DJs on the international scene. For nearly ninety minutes, the two artists trade the decks poolside under the Ibizan sun, in The Lab Ibiza series powered by Pioneer Pro Audio. This live capture documents the chemistry of a demanding back-to-back, where progressive house and hypnotic techno answer one another. A benchmark live filmed concert for electronic-music fans, this Sasha b2b ANNA at the Mixmag Lab in Ibiza 2023 showcases the art of the duo mix carried by two generations of club culture.
