Jackie Venson — Austin Blues Festival, 2025

A filmed live concert by guitarist and singer Jackie Venson at the Austin Blues Festival, recorded on April 30, 2025, an event produced by the Antone’s club. A rising figure of the Austin, Texas scene, Venson blends blues, rock, soul and R&B through virtuosic electric guitar playing and expressive vocals. On stage she is backed by a full band: Rodney Hyder on drums, Brandon Morgan on keys and organ, Marcus Clark on bass, and a trio of backing vocalists — Akina Adderley, Kam Franklin and Kate Priestley.
