Dana Fuchs — Megève Blues Festival, 2023

Full concert by American singer Dana Fuchs at the Megève Blues Festival on 4 August 2023, in the French Alps. With a raw, haunted voice often compared to Janis Joplin, Dana Fuchs embodies a gritty, soulful blues-rock steeped in gospel and Southern rock. This live concert, filmed by the festival’s official channel, conveys the intensity of her stage presence: searing phrasing, tight band dynamics and the slow-building tension typical of her shows. Known for her role in the musical « Love, Lost and Found » and the film « Across the Universe », the New York artist has become a fixture of Europe’s blues stages. At the foot of Mont Blanc, the Megève Blues Festival gives an intimate setting to this live concert of just over an hour, ideal for appreciating the raw power of one of today’s great female blues voices. A document recommended to fans of authentic live blues and raw, emotional vocal performance.
