November Ultra — Radio Nova “Chambre noire”, Paris, 2021

Live session filmed in November 2021 as part of Radio Nova’s “Chambre noire” show in Paris, with the French singer-songwriter November Ultra. Shortly before the release of her debut album “Bedroom Walls,” one of the most anticipated of 2022, the artist performs a handful of songs live, in the intimacy specific to this radio format. A singer, lyricist, composer and producer of her own music, November Ultra embodies a delicate “bedroom pop” steeped in soul, folk and chanson, where even break-up songs keep an enveloping softness. Her hushed voice, pared-down arrangements and intimate lyrics form a world of their own in the new French scene. The live capture highlights this spareness and the sincerity of the performance, far from production gloss. A live concert ideal for discovering a singular voice in contemporary chanson and following the emergence of an artist free of labels, praised by critics from her very first songs.
